It has a black, rectangular case weighing less than 13 pounds. It also offers convenience because it has a carrying handle that slides out from one side.

Sharp’s XV-Z15000 does not have the usual lens cap but it already contains a protective shutter that you can simply slide in front of the lens. The lens of this home theater projector is smaller compared to other projectors. Its 100-inch-diagonal screen requires a screen-to-projector distance of 10.3 to 11.9 feet.

It comes with six different preset picture modes. They can be adjusted manually to suit your preference. In addition, using the same mode with different settings at each input is also possible. The color management system of Sharp has two modes. Each of these modes offers four different adjustments, such as saturation, hue, value and effect. The brightness of the adjusted color is called value. The effect mode affects the range of color correction. Sharp’s home theater projector has two iris controls. The first control allows you can select a high brightness or high contrast while the second control, engages or defeats the auto iris. The Sharp’s video processing does not use the famous video processing chips. However, its end result is still exceptional.
